We compete with matching age-group teams from Portland, Tualatin Valley, and the Salem area. From early August through late October you'll be building relationships and having fun.

**2024 TVYFL RULE CHANGE ANNOUNCED 4/14: Students who attend private school in the boundary of LHS are no longer automatically eligible to play with us; a waiver from the district of your high school boundary youth football organization will be required.**

GUIDELINES

• Pre-season baseline concussion testing is required for all 7th and 8th grade players.  Testing is optional for 5th and 6th graders, but recommended.  Our registrar will be able to help you with ways to accomplish this test online.


• LYF teaches USA Football's Heads Up techniques to improve player safety.

• LYF teaches tackling with Safe Tackle Rings to reduce player on player contact during practice.
