Lincoln Youth Football 2011 "Make the Play"
Fundraiser - Show Your Skills - Punt, Pass & Kick
Competition
Please mark your calendars for this year's first annual fundraiser, "Make the Play", Punt/Pass/Kick contest.
Prizes to be presented Thursday, August
18th! (But start collecting donations NOW!!!!) Lincoln Youth Football is hosting a competition highlighting the skills of Punting, Passing & Kicking as our major fundraiser. This is
LYF's most important fundraiser of the year! We are really hoping for the support of everyone! The funds raised with this event allow the Lincoln Youth Football players to
have a safe, affordable, fun and rewarding experience with our sports program! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the
Jackson Hill Foundation. With your help we can do
this!!
Competition Overview: This competition creates a lively and
engaging forum for boys in the LYF program to compete separately against their peers in punting, passing and kicking skills. For each age division, the top
scorer for each skill set in each age category will be presented at the halftime of a Lincoln HS Varsity football game.
Object of the Punting, Passing & Kicking Competition: The competition will take place the first week of football practice at West Sylvan School. Each player will be allowed one punt, one pass
and one placekick as part of his participation. Each participant's final score will be his total feet combined from all three events. Prior to the event, players are asked
to collect pledges on the enclosed pledge form (additional copies available) from family, friends and neighbors.
